Since my last writing I have enjoyed driving both the 2012 Jaguar XKR-S and the 2012 Audi R8.  Both Supercars are amazing in their own way.   The Jaguar is a 5.0 liter V-8 (550hp) and the Audi is a AWD 5.2 liter V-10 (525hp); both weighing in around 3800lbs.  While I have been able to drive the XKR-S at Lime Rock and Homestead Speedway, I have only driven the R8 on the streets of Philadelphia, Boston and NYC.    Guests are invited to participate in “Test Drives” to discover how nice these cars are to drive as an everyday vehicle.   Jaguar has been taking their events to race tracks while Audi has been taking over the city streets and proving that the R8 can be driven as an everyday car.
